Ingredients
Apple Filling
- 4 cups apple
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ lemon, juice
Crumble Topping
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (gluten-free)
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- To make the apple filling, in a large bowl, toss the apples with the maple syrup, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and lemon juice. Transfer the apples into a baking dish.
- To make the topping, in another large bowl, combine the oats, pecans, almond flour, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Spread the oat mixture over the apple mixture.
- Bake the crumble until the apples have softened and the topping is golden, about 35 to 45 minutes.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
