Classic Meatballs

Ingredients
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ lb lean ground beef
- ½ lb ground pork
- 1 large egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups tomato sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a baking dish with oil. Set it aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the milk and breadcrumbs. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Add the egg and bread crumb mixture. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into 1.5” inch balls and place them in the baking dish. Bake until the meatballs are cooked through, about 30 to 40 minutes. Cover the meatballs with tomato sauce and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately over spaghetti topped with some freshly grate Parmesan and some freshly chopped parsley. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
