- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 4 ½ cup water, divided
- 6 lemons, juice
- In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar with ½ cup of the water over medium-high heat. Once dissolved, remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to cool completely. Once the syrup has cooled, add the lemon juice, syrup and the remaining water into a large pitcher. Mix well.
- Serve immediately over ice or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
