Ingredients
Sauce
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Stir-Fry
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Arrange the chicken in the skillet and season it with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, until it is golden and reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF, about 7 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the broccoli to the skillet. Stir in the sauce and cook, covered, until the broccoli begins to turn bright green and is tender-crisp, 5 minutes. Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Serve immediately topped with the green onions and sesame seeds or store in the refrigerator, in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
