Cheesy Jalepeño Breakfast Pita

Ingredients
- 1 tsp oil
- ¼ jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ whole wheat pita
- ½ cup shredded cooked chicken
Instructions
- In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Cook the jalapeños for 30 seconds. Stir in the cream cheese and cook until it begins to soften, about 30 seconds.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the egg mixture to frying pan. Cook, stirring, until the eggs begin to set, about 2 minutes. Stir in the chicken and cheddar cheese and cook until the chicken has heated through, about 1 minute. Stuff the pita with the egg mixture.
- Serve immediately.
