Puff Pastry Nutella Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastries
- ½ cup Nutella
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set it aside.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet into four equal squares. Working one square at a time, using a sharp knife, cut 1-inch slits along the bottom edge of the square, ½-inch apart. Spread some Nutella along the top of the square, leaving a ½-inch border of pastry around the sides. Starting with the top edge with the Nutella, roll the dough toward the bottom edge, into a log. Bring the ends of the log together to form a donut shape. Transfer the donut to the baking sheet and repeat the process until all of the puff pastry is used up.
- Bake the donuts until they are golden, about 18 to 20 minutes.
- Allow the donuts to cool before dusting with powdered sugar and enjoying.
