Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1 frozen pie crust
- 2 ½ cups pecan halves
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract and salt. Stir in the pecans. Transfer the mixture into the pie shell and bake until the top is golden and set, about 40 to 45 minutes. If you find that the crust is browning too quickly, carefully tent a piece of aluminum foil over the top. Make sure the foil isn’t touching the pie filling. Allow pie to cool completely before serving.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
