- ½ cup quick cooking oats (gluten-free)
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup 2% milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup, divided
- 1 banana, sliced
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- In a small pot, combine the oats, water, milk, and half of the maple syrup. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the liquid begins to simmer. Stir constantly, until the oats have absorbed the liquid and are tender, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve immediately topped with the bananas, walnuts, and some more maple syrup.
