This looks great, but I am not sure I follow: don’t you need to cook the oatmeal? What kind of oats do you use?
Hi! I actually use just plain rolled oats but you can use steel cut as well. The oats actually ‘cook’ by being left in the liquid overnight. Once you’ve combined your ingredients, all you have to do is shake up the jar and leave in the fridge overnight. When you wake up, the oats will have absorbed all the liquid and be soft and ready to eat 🙂 Hope this helps!
Sara, I was wondering how much of each ingredient for the base recipe you use. I can’t find a recipe anywhere. I know you put in the oatmeal, chia seeds, almond milk, then greek yogurt, but wasn’t sure how much of each you would use. I think that would be very helpful to know. I’m sorry if I missed this somehow. Thanks for your channel! I subscribed, it’s fabulous!
